It’s been a busy couple of weeks, so you’re getting two weeks of CSA photos and a tip on what to do with your produce all in one post.  Sometimes it’s a choice between cooking the produce and writing about it.  My stomach wins that argument every time…  Here you go:

Last week’s delivery brought ripe tomatoes and banana peppers. Anyone have any suggestions for how I might go about using up the banana peppers?

In addition to the tomatoes, this week’s delivery included both yellow and green beans. Stay tuned for a delicious recipe featuring them in the next few days.

The fourth lesson: Try new recipes.  Yeah, sautéed green beans are tasty, but after 7 days in a row, you might want to shake things up a bit.  Your local Co-op or bookstore probably carries a variety of produce centered cookbooks if you prefer your food info in hard copy.  For electronic inspiration, try cheaphealthygood.blogspot.com, www.foodnetwork.com, or www.vegetariantimes.com/recipe.  If you’re feeling adventurous, you might even want to ask for recipe suggestions via Facebook or Twitter.
