This week brought more delicious veggies, plus the first of many cabbages. I always struggle to use up cabbages…

This week brought leeks, kohlrabi, spinach, kale, mixed cooking greens, salad greens, fennel, carrots, basil, and cabbage.

This week brought leeks, kohlrabi, spinach, kale, mixed cooking greens, salad greens, fennel, carrots, basil, and cabbage.

Some of the produce made it into breakfast this morning too. Spinach ended up in an omelet, and some fresh basil added an aromatic finish to balsamic drizzled apple slices.

A feta and spinach omelet topped with smoked black pepper and Chardonnay smoked sea salt goes great with slices of Pink Lady apple drizzled with strawberry balsamic vinegar and rubbed with fresh basil.
